Common Questions About Luxury Honeymoon Kangaroo Island Stays

Where can we explore during our stay?

Located just off the coast of South Australia, Kangaroo Island is well known for its iconic natural destinations. Guests often visit Flinders Chase National Park and Seal Bay Conservation Park, as well as local wineries and more.

These unforgettable locations are all within reach, before returning to the privacy and tranquillity of your Eco Villa.

Is wildlife part of the experience?

Very much so. Wildlife is part of everyday life at Ecopia, with kangaroos, wallabies, and native birds often seen nearby. It’s an authentic way to experience Australia’s natural environment, quietly and respectfully.

What is the Eco Villa like inside?

Each Eco Villa is a sanctuary for two, designed to feel like your own private hideaway. A spacious bedroom, beautifully appointed bathroom and stunning fireplace set the tone for relaxed intimacy, with thoughtful details throughout that support comfort, privacy and unrushed time together.

Can we have a longer honeymoon stay?

Yes. Longer stays are welcomed at Ecopia and may offer additional benefits, inviting you to linger a little longer in the rhythm of the island.

What Couples say About Their Stay

Ecopia is truly first class from the standard of accommodation, to the extra little touches like the welcome fizz and treats on arrival, plus the beautiful natural products provided. The peace and tranquility make it a very special place with an abundance of wildlife that come close to the villa. Thank you Yael and your team, our stay will live long in our memory.

Ecopia was an incredible get away situated in the prime location of the heart of KI. It was the perfect Homebase for all of our daily tours and trips and made coming home each evening a joy. We were greeted to kangaroos and an echidna on arrival and saw goannas, koalas and more. Spring was the perfect time with all the baby animas and a cosy fire in the evenings. The food was all locally sourced (as we spotted some of the homegrown brands on our travels around KI) and made dining in such a treat. The gluten free and dietary catering was incredible and made for such an easy and stress free experience at Ecopia. It really took off a lot of pressure and had me feeling very at ease. The house was stunning and comfy, the property was amazing and the over all experience was incredible. Sunset on the deck through the gum trees with nothing but the birdsong was such a highlight while the joeys grazed in the distance. We’ll definitely be back!

I recently stayed at Ecopia for 5 nights with my partner and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The villa itself is beautiful - every detail has been thought of to make the stay comfortable and relaxing, including a super comfortable bed, a beautiful wood fire for cooler evenings and an amazing bath with views to die for. The deck was a gorgeous spot to sit and watch the abundant wildlife go by. Yael was a super helpful and gracious host - between a beautiful welcome platter and the breakfast platter that we pre-ordered we had a groaning fridge waiting for us, and she gave us some great suggestions for things to explore around the island. A beautiful opportunity for a recharge, I wish we could've stayed longer!
