One of Jacques' first wines released from The Islander Estate, this 2022 Shiraz Cabernet Franc blend continues a long tradition of excellence. This elegant Bordeaux-style blend offers vanilla, plums, violets, capsicum & spice with hints of French oak on the nose.  On the palate, a soft texture with round, medium-body, blackberry &  sarsaparilla notes at the darker end of the fruit spectrum & Oak notes – vanilla and coconut. The finish is firmly structured with natural acidity & sweet tannins. It's the perfect match for classic French dishes, like a steak cooked medium-rare (or however you like it) with duck fat potatoes or aged hard cheese.
